They originally sang July 22, 1977 at Horsehead Lake and were dubbed "The Horsehead Four" by the 4-Cast editor, Pat Warren in the August 1977 paper. They placed 7/13 (made the night cut) in the 1978 Spring Contest in lansing won by the Vagabonds.
