It would be wise to have either a strong blender or juicer on hand for this operation and some common swimming goggles for your eyes. Also for the benefit of those living with you feel free to open up windows for some ventilation during making of the brew. I found the Jack LaLane Juicer Currently sold at Meijer's works great for this job. Its around $100.00.
Ingredients:
1 Large Horse Radish Root
1 Large Ginger Root
1 Large Yellow Onion (not sweet) or 3....smaller yellow onions (not sweet)
5-10 Habenero Peppers
1-2 Bulbs of Garlic (you can increase this amount too)
8-16oz.Organic Apple Cider Vinegar
If you use the juicer then just add (2) 16oz Organic Apple Cider Vinegar to a bowl before juicing and let the juice drop right into the vinegar. If using a blender then you want to have extra vinegar on hand to blend the ingredients with.
After blending the ingredients and piling them into a bowl then mix the contents in the bowl and scoop them out into a strainer and push the juice out. You may have to resort to grabbing the leftover pulp and squeezing the remaining juice out with your hands.
Strain the juice you get through a coffee filter overnight.
Put that into bottles and keep refrigerated.
The toughest ingredients on this list of items are the horseradish root and the ginger root. Cut these into small chunks for juicing or blending. Think of the horseradish like a tree branch and cut along the length of the root to create strips for easier cutting. Take about 1-2 oz of the juice with a 20oz bottle of water and drink throughout the day to boost your imune system. You can always increase the dosage for more demanding situations.
I have found that its worth the work to put this together. Enjoy the results.
